Evaluation, Research, and Policy Analysis
MISSION LEADS specializes in leveraging novel technologies for monitoring and evaluation, basic social and public health research, and policy analysis needs; our work has been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development, and our proposal for a Pioneering Idea Award at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation made it to the final stage of consideration (only 2% of applications make it this far).
Program Evaluation
MISSION LEADS uses program evaluation tools to systematically investigate the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, procedures, policies, and programs. It involves assessing the design, implementation, outcomes, and impact of initiatives to determine whether they meet predefined objectives. Through program evaluation, organizations can identify what works, what doesn't, how, when, and why—enabling informed decisions about program improvement, scaling, or potential discontinuation. Regular evaluations provide valuable feedback to stakeholders, facilitating the refinement of strategies and activities to enhance overall effectiveness. This process is essential for aligning programs with strategic goals, optimizing resource allocation, and demonstrating accountability to funders and constituents.
Research and Data Visualization
MISSION LEADS possesses the capacity to execute and oversee projects that utilize basic and community-focused participatory social science research methods, both qualitative and quantitative. We are skilled in conducting in-depth interviews, focus groups, surveys, and statistical analyses, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of data and its implications. Additionally, we excel in creating sophisticated data visualization tools, ranging from geographic information system (GIS) mapping to interactive dashboards in Tableau. These capabilities allow us to present complex data in an accessible and visually engaging manner, enhancing the interpretability and impact of our findings. This blend of methodological expertise and advanced data visualization techniques empowers us to deliver clear insights and actionable recommendations in our projects.

We apply an analytical approach to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and equity of public policies. Our expertise includes conducting policy reviews, stakeholder analysis, and impact assessments, all of which enable us to provide in-depth insights and strategic recommendations. Moreover, we utilize advanced tools for data analysis and visualization to clarify policy implications and support evidence-based decision-making.
