Ethan Haymovitz, DSW Candidate

Principal

With 15 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, program development & evaluation for nonprofits, government, and international NGOs, Ethan is committed to helping agencies realize their vision and pursue strategic goals. As a doctoral candidate in social work, he is trained to strengthen leadership in the nonprofit sector. His passion will transform efforts into outcomes. 

Ethan has taught Data Visualization at Columbia University. He is a member of the editorial board of the new journal Social Work and Social Welfare.

He first and foremost a writer, and has published, presented on a variety of topics, and won major awards from the National Institutes of Health, Administration for Children and Families, and Lambda Literary Foundation. 

Ethan received his bachelor's degree from Vassar College, master's degree from Columbia University, and pursued doctoral study at Cornell University. He is a doctoral candidate in social work at Millersville University.

When not working, he is sewing or cooking. He and his husband live in Brooklyn, NY

Karon Campbell Williams, MPA

Principal

Karon is a dynamic business development professional skilled in creating, executing and managing innovative practices to engage strategic partners. With over 20 years of experience, she acquired a unique perspective and talent to develop and implement effective philanthropic programs and charitable investment opportunities. Karon is best known for being a results–oriented fundraiser who has an immediate, quantifiable impact on the nonprofit organizations that she has served.

Along with work at major New York institutions, Karon has spent over a decade as a management consultant. She provides capacity building services in the areas of organizational development, marketing and communications, fiscal management, business process and infrastructure improvement. She works closely with organizations to transform themselves to a higher level of effectiveness, impact and sustainability. 

Karon received a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY College at Old Westbury. She resides in Oyster Bay with her husband and daughter.
